Hapoel Be'er Sheva Continues Trend of Signing Israeli League Players

Hapoel Be'er Sheva has officially announced the signing of Adrian Ugrisa, continuing the club's recent strategy of acquiring players from within the Israeli Premier League. This move follows a pattern established over the past two seasons, where the team has recruited both foreign and Israeli talent from domestic clubs.

Last season, Hapoel Be'er Sheva signed Javan East, a foreign striker from Hapoel Haifa. This season's additions from the league include Niv Yehoshua, Marko Volf, Yonas Malda, and Itay Rotman, the latter acquired on a free transfer from Hapoel Petah Tikva. The team also brought in Javan East and Mohamed Abu Rumi in January, who were instrumental in their championship run.

Other notable signings from the Israeli league include Dan Biton, who joined on a free transfer from Maccabi Tel Aviv, and Hamudi Kanaan and Roei Levy, who were purchased together for 1.9 million euros from MS Ashdod.

Prior to Ugrisa's signing, Hapoel Be'er Sheva had already invested over 5.3 million euros in players acquired from the Israeli Premier League. Specific transfer fees detailed include: Niv Yehoshua (Maccabi Petah Tikva) for 1.5 million euros, Hamudi Kanaan (MS Ashdod) for 1.2 million euros, Adrian Ugrisa (Kiryat Shmona) for 800,000 euros, Roei Levy (MS Ashdod) for 700,000 euros, Mohamed Abu Rumi (Ironi Kiryat Shmona) for 400,000 euros, Marko Volf (Maccabi Petah Tikva) for 250,000 euros, Guy Mizrahi (Maccabi Netanya) for 235,000 euros, Javan East (Hapoel Haifa) for 200,000 euros, and Yonas Malda (Maccabi Tel Aviv) for 100,000 euros.
