New Back-to-School Food Products Hit Israeli Shelves

As the school year begins in Israel on September 1st, a variety of new food products are being introduced to cater to lunchboxes and snacks. Among the new offerings are spreads from Olelacham, including a chocolate ball flavor and an allergen-free peanut, nut, sesame, and lactose-free option. Tnuva is expanding its Napoleon cheese line with a 9% fat natural flavor, described as richer than standard white cheese.

Wanna Greens, an organic superfood based on the water lentil plant, is now available at Tiv Taam supermarkets, offering a crunchy texture and nutritional benefits for sandwiches and other dishes. Gad Dairy has launched "Feel Gad," a plant-based cheese alternative line, featuring cream cheese-style, almond cheese, and labneh-style spreads, designed for those with lactose sensitivity.

Today brand is introducing a high-protein granola in varieties like nuts, chocolate chips, and dried fruits, aiming to provide a more substantial breakfast option. Allin has released a new protein bar in the Creamy Core series, inspired by cheesecake with a lemon cream filling, containing 13 grams of protein and no added sugar.

Finally, Osem is launching "Star Bears" snacks with a "fictitious cheese" flavor, described as similar to Cheetos but with a bit more character and a slight spice, aimed at older children. These products are appearing on shelves as students return to school.
