Beitar Jerusalem FC Implements New Fan Scoring System for Away Game Tickets

Beitar Jerusalem Football Club has introduced a new fan scoring system designed to determine eligibility for away game tickets. The club announced on Monday that after considering various options, the scoring method will be implemented starting with the upcoming season. The first round of league matches will be used to accumulate points for subsequent rounds. Until then, the club will hold lotteries or pre-registration for games based on initial scores.

Under the new system, points for home games are awarded up to two days after a fan enters the stadium and their season ticket is scanned. These points are automatically added to their account on the "Leaan" ticketing website. For away games, tickets must be purchased in advance through the season ticket holder's account on the website only; purchases at the box office or through other means will not earn points. Tickets not scanned at the stadium will also not count towards points. Buying multiple tickets will not grant additional points, and purchased but unused tickets will not be rewarded.

Beitar Jerusalem stated that fans who purchase a ticket for a "big game" but do not attend will face an automatic point deduction. Entry to these significant matches will require scanning the ticket associated with the season ticket holder's name. The number of points awarded will vary based on the opponent and the stadium. The club will publish the list of teams and point values on its platforms.

Points will be valid for 24 months from the system's launch on September 30, 2026. After this initial period, each new point will be valid for 24 months from its accumulation date. Eligibility for away game tickets will consider factors such as season ticket tenure, new season ticket purchases, membership in the "Beitarri" fan club, attendance at home and away games, season ticket renewals, and other criteria the club may announce.

New season ticket holders will receive 20 points, with an additional 20 points awarded for each year of season ticket ownership starting from the 2022/23 season. "Beitarri" club members will get a bonus of 50 points. Fans who qualify for a "big game" ticket but fail to attend will have 40 points deducted from their balance, a measure intended to encourage broader attendance. Points for games are earned by attending and scanning season tickets at home matches and tickets at away games. The club reserves the right to double points for specific events and games with prior notice. Furthermore, Beitar Jerusalem can revoke points for specific season ticket holders who engage in disruptive behavior, throw objects, or cause damage to the club. Eligible fans will be notified by the club or "Leaan" with purchase instructions and deadlines. Transferring a ticket to another person will not earn the season ticket holder points.
