Beitar Jerusalem FC Implements New Fan Scoring System for Away Game Tickets

Beitar Jerusalem FC has introduced a new fan scoring system designed to determine eligibility for away game tickets. The club announced on Monday that this system will be implemented starting with the current season, with the first round of league matches serving as a period for fans to accumulate points for subsequent rounds.

Under the new policy, points will be awarded for attending home games, with the fan's subscription card scanned upon entry to the stadium. These points will be automatically added to the fan's account on the 'Leaan' ticketing website. For away games, tickets must be purchased in advance through the subscription on the website, and only scanned tickets will earn points. Purchasing tickets at the box office or through other methods will not grant points, and unused tickets will not be eligible for scoring. A significant change is the penalty for not attending a "big game" for which a ticket was purchased; such fans will face an automatic point deduction.

The number of points awarded will vary based on the type of match, opponent, and stadium. The validity of accumulated points will be 24 months from the system's launch date, September 30, 2026, after which each new point will be valid for 24 months from its accumulation date.

Eligibility for away game tickets will be based on several factors, including subscription tenure, new subscription purchases, membership in the "Beitarri" fan club, attendance at home and away games, and subscription renewals. New subscribers will receive an initial 20 points, with an additional 20 points awarded for each year of subscription starting from the 2022/23 season. "Beitarri" club members will receive a bonus of 50 points. Attending a "big game" after being granted eligibility will result in a deduction of 40 points, aimed at encouraging broader fan participation.

The club reserves the right to double points for specific events or matches with prior notice. Furthermore, Beitar Jerusalem can revoke a fan's points for stadium disturbances, throwing objects, or any actions that harm the club. Fans eligible for away game tickets will be notified by the club or "Leaan" with purchase instructions and deadlines. Transferring a ticket to another person will not earn the original ticket holder points.
