Hapoel Haifa Goalie Pulls Off Stunning Double Save
Hapoel Haifa goalkeeper Yoav Ofek delivered a remarkable double save during a match against Hapoel Tel Aviv, potentially one of the season's best in the Israeli Premier League. The incident began when Hapoel Tel Aviv was awarded a penalty, taken by Stav Turiel. Ofek correctly anticipated the direction, diving right to save the initial shot. However, the rebound fell to Turiel, who then kicked the ball towards the opposite side. Ofek was unable to reach it, but fortunately for Hapoel Tel Aviv, the ball struck the crossbar.
Moments later, the ball rebounded from the crossbar directly to Hapoel Tel Aviv's Daniel Dapa. Dapa headed the ball towards the goal, but Ofek, who had initially dived right for the penalty, managed to scramble back to his left. He stretched out to make an incredible save, catching the ball just as it was about to cross the goal line, securing the save with the ball in his hands right on the goal line.
