New Album 'Malchus Shebemalchus' Features Chasidic Masters' Melodies

A new musical project titled "Malchus Shebemalchus" (Kingdom Within a Kingdom) has been released, serving as a follow-up to the successful album "Hodor Shebahodor." The album is dedicated entirely to the melodies of Rabbi Moshe Chizkiyah Weiss, a prominent Chasidic composer. Released in anticipation of the High Holy Days, the project aims to provide a spiritual journey through themes of accepting divine sovereignty and spiritual awakening.

The album features a diverse lineup of leading Chasidic singers and musicians, including Ahar'ele Samet, Ari Hill, Pinny Einhorn, Moti Vizel, Meilech Kohn, Mendy Weiss, Shmulik Klein, Meilech Braunstein, Yoshy Gofen, Yanky Oish, Simcha Birnbaum, and Yoely Davidowitz. The esteemed "Romemu" choir also contributes to the vocal arrangements.

Eli Klein and Itzy Berry are credited with the musical arrangements and orchestration, creating a rich and polished soundscape that blends authentic Chasidic emotion with modern production techniques. Additional arrangements were provided by Moshe Yakab and Yanky Steinmetz, adding further musical variety.

Produced by Moishe Roth and Moishe Yaakov, the project involved meticulous attention to detail in selecting the melodies, sequencing the tracks, and choosing the performers. The goal was to craft a profound musical experience to accompany listeners on their spiritual path leading up to the High Holy Days.
