Influencer Shirley Levy Marks One Year Since Sister's Fatal Motorcycle Accident
Content creator Shirley Levy has shared a poignant tribute to her late sister, Shiran Levy, one year after Shiran was killed in a tragic road accident at the age of 18. In a heartfelt social media post, Shirley described the enduring pain and the way grief has become an inseparable part of her life.
"This past year has taught me that longing isn't something that passes; it simply becomes a part of me, stronger, more powerful, and more painful," Shirley wrote. She detailed the immense void Shiran's death has left, stating, "My family is not the same family, and when you died, I died too." Shirley expressed her deep love and daily longing for her sister, missing her scent, embrace, smile, and voice.
The accident occurred in September 2025 in Rehovot. According to the indictment filed in the case, a car driver turned left at an intersection against a red light, blocking Shiran's path as she proceeded through a green light. The collision threw her onto the road, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shirley concluded her tribute by addressing Shiran directly, expressing her hope to continue living joyfully and smiling, and assuring her sister that she would live on within her thoughts, imagination, memories, and the signs Shiran continues to send. She affirmed her belief that Shiran is always with her.
