Eight-Year-Old Boy Critically Injured After Falling Four Stories in Bnei Brak

An eight-year-old boy is in critical condition after falling approximately 12 meters (four stories) from a residential building in Bnei Brak on Sunday morning. Emergency services were called to Yizre'el Valley Street where they found the child unconscious with a head injury.

Paramedics from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom provided initial medical treatment at the scene. "We were told at the scene that he fell from the fourth floor (about 12 meters) of his residential building and was severely injured in the head," said United Hatzalah paramedics Ariel Engler, Tzaddok Meaton Cohen, and Shlomo Katzin. They administered medical care before he was evacuated.

A senior Magen David Adom paramedic, Yosef Pesach, described finding the boy on the ground, unconscious with a severe head injury after the significant fall. "We provided him with life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him in an intensive care ambulance to the hospital, where his condition is defined as serious," he stated.

The child was transported to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, remaining unconscious and in serious condition.
