Fatal Coastal Road Crash Kills Woman, Injures Six
A woman, approximately 50 years old, died in a fatal traffic accident involving four private vehicles on the Coastal Road near Atlit on Sunday morning. Six other people were injured in the crash, including a man in his 60s who sustained serious injuries.
Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency services received the initial report at 6:13 AM. Responders arriving at the scene found one vehicle completely crushed and another overturned. Paramedics confirmed the death of the woman, who was trapped in the crushed vehicle and suffered severe injuries.
The man in his 60s, who was trapped in the overturned vehicle, received life-saving medical treatment at the scene before being extracted and transported to a hospital in serious condition with a head injury.
MDA teams also treated and evacuated five other individuals with minor injuries to Hillel Yaffe and Rambam hospitals. The previous day, four people were killed in three separate traffic accidents across Israel, including incidents near Karmiel, Ra'anana, and Tzohar in the Eshkol region.
