Man Murdered, Another Wounded in Shooting Incident in Jaffa
A man was killed and another seriously injured in a shooting incident on Leib Ben Sarah Street in Jaffa on Tuesday. Both victims were evacuated to Wolfson Medical Center. Doctors pronounced the man who was critically wounded dead upon arrival. The second victim remains in serious condition.
Police have launched an investigation into the suspected murder. Large forces from the Jaffa station and forensic investigators from the Tel Aviv District are collecting evidence and conducting searches for suspects.
Tel Aviv District Commander Superintendent Chaim Scharf and Ayalon Region Commander Superintendent Dani Haddad held a situation assessment at the scene. The investigation has been assigned to the Tel Aviv District's Central Unit.
