Israeli Ambassador Visits Uman to Oversee Preparations for Tens of Thousands of Breslov Hasidim

Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine, Royi Rozneblit, conducted a special visit to the city of Uman to review preparations ahead of the arrival of tens of thousands of Breslov Hasidim and other pilgrims for Rosh Hashanah. The visit was organized by the Breslov Center as part of extensive logistical and security arrangements for this major annual pilgrimage.

During his tour, Rozneblit visited the tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov accompanied by Uman's chief rabbi, Yaakov Gan, who explained the significance of the site and the scale of preparations needed for the influx of worshippers. The ambassador also toured the massive hospitality operation managed by Eliezer Karlibach, witnessing the extensive logistical efforts to accommodate the large crowds.

Additionally, Rozneblit visited the headquarters of United Hatzalah in Uman, where he was briefed on the medical preparedness for the event. United Hatzalah plans to deploy around 300 volunteers to provide medical assistance throughout the pilgrims’ stay. The ambassador expressed his admiration for the comprehensive coordination among local authorities and organizations to ensure the safety and well-being of the visitors during one of Ukraine’s largest annual religious gatherings.
