Rabid Dog Found in Givat Ze'ev Prompts Rabies Vaccination Warning
The Israeli Ministry of Health reported that a dog infected with rabies was discovered in Givat Ze'ev, specifically on Hai Bar Street. Following this finding, one individual who had contact with the dog was referred for preventive rabies vaccination. The Ministry urged anyone who had direct contact with the infected dog or whose pets may have encountered the infected or stray animals in the area between August 15 and August 26 to urgently contact the Jerusalem Health Office at 02-5314820 or their nearest health office to consider receiving preventive treatment.
