Grenade Thrown at Restaurant in Rishon Lezion; Criminal Motive Suspected

Rapper Yoav "The Shadow" Eliasi was dining at the restaurant when the attack occurred. According to reports, an unidentified individual wearing a helmet arrived at the scene on a motorcycle, threw the stun grenade at the establishment, and immediately fled. Eliasi later posted a video on his Instagram account showing dust and remnants of the device scattered across the floor.

Following the sudden explosion, Eliasi initially feared that a terrorist attack was underway and drew his personal weapon. He later clarified that the device thrown was a stun grenade rather than a fragmentation grenade, acknowledging the potential danger of the situation while expressing relief that no one was hurt.

Officers from the Rishon Lezion police station quickly responded to reports of the blast and secured the area. Investigators and detectives are currently gathering evidence at the scene to determine the full circumstances of the incident and identify the suspect.
