Fatal Road Accident on Route 443 Under Investigation

Emergency medical services from Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah arrived at the scene following a report received at approximately 11:05 PM. Responders found the young man lying on the ground with severe, multiple injuries, unconscious and without vital signs, and were forced to pronounce him dead at the scene.

According to JDN, initial reports suggest the deceased was an undocumented individual who had crossed the security barrier and was struck while attempting to cross the main road. The driver of the vehicle, a woman around 30 years old, was treated at the scene for shock.

The incident occurred on a major highway connecting Jerusalem to central Israel. The crash caused heavy traffic congestion in the area towards Modi'in, and security forces and police launched an investigation into the circumstances of the fatal collision.
