Israeli Police Arrest Illegal Palestinian Worker for Indecent Assault in Tel Aviv Apartment

Police in Jaffa arrested a 32-year-old illegal Palestinian worker suspected of committing an indecent act against a 26-year-old woman in her Tel Aviv apartment. The suspect, employed as a construction worker in the building where the victim lives, reportedly entered her home under the pretext of fixing electrical issues. The incident occurred on the morning of August 18, 2026, when the woman woke up to find the man assaulting her. After she shouted at him, the suspect fled the apartment.

The victim provided police with a detailed description of the suspect, prompting an extensive search. Officers located him hiding at a nearby construction site and took him into custody. He was transferred for interrogation on charges of indecent assault and illegal residency in Israel.
