Lawyer Arrested for Smuggling Heroin and Ecstasy Hidden in Eyelash Remover Bottles
A lawyer was arrested on suspicion of smuggling drugs concealed in bottles labeled as eyelash remover. The Central District's Unit 747 detectives and customs investigators at Ben Gurion Airport intercepted the shipment, which originated from England and passed through Turkey. During a search of the lawyer's home, additional drugs including ecstasy, heroin, and GBL were seized. Customs officials uncovered the shipment containing bottles with a substance suspected to be GBL, disguised within packaging meant for artificial eyelash removal products, and addressed to a client in central Israel. The lawyer was detained after receiving the package in Tel Aviv.
