Illegal Resident Arrested in Herzliya Attempting Car Theft with Sophisticated Tools

Israeli police arrested a 19-year-old illegal resident from Dahariya in Herzliya after he was caught trying to steal a vehicle. The suspect was located following a police report about a suspicious individual moving between cars in the Neve Amal neighborhood. Officers from the Glilot station responded quickly, spotting the suspect who attempted to flee with a bag. After a brief foot chase, he was apprehended while hiding in a garbage room in one of the buildings. Police found lock-picking tools and advanced equipment for car theft in his possession. The suspect was taken in for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation.
