Fatal Collision Near Tel Arad Junction Kills One, Injures Two
A man in his 50s died in a severe traffic accident involving a truck and a private car on Route 80 near the Tel Arad junction. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the scene to find the man trapped inside the vehicle, unconscious and without vital signs, suffering from multiple severe injuries. Despite their efforts, they pronounced him dead at the scene.
Two other men were injured and evacuated to Soroka Medical Center. A 35-year-old man is in serious but conscious condition with multiple injuries, while a 45-year-old man sustained moderate injuries to his abdomen and limbs. MDA paramedics Muhammad Abu Matir, Saar Shachori, and Anwar Abu Farid described the chaotic scene and the extensive damage to the vehicle involved.
The incident remains under investigation, with emergency services continuing to provide care to the injured and secure the accident site.
