Popular MeiLY+ Baby Stroller Recalled in Israel Over Safety Hazards

The story · English

The Israeli Ministry of Economy has issued an immediate recall for the popular 1in4 Stroller Plus (model G308), sold under the MeiLY+ brand by importer Junama Israel. The recall follows a safety inspection by the Standards Institute revealing serious defects that pose significant risks to infants. Key issues include the stroller’s lack of a double locking mechanism, which can cause it to fold unexpectedly, risking injury or falls; failure to meet stability tests, increasing the chance of tipping over; absence of braking devices; and openings in the footrest mechanism that could trap a child’s limbs. The product also is not approved for use as a car safety seat.

Parents and caregivers who own this stroller model are urged to stop using it immediately and return it to Junama Israel’s warehouse in Givat Shmuel for repairs. The Ministry emphasized the dangers of continued use, warning of potential injuries. For further information, consumers can contact Junama Israel via email or phone. This recall highlights ongoing vigilance by Israeli regulators to ensure child product safety standards are met.
