The Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry issued an urgent warning on Thursday over a baby stroller sold in Israel, saying parents should stop using it immediately because it may cause injuries and bruises. Sales of the product in stores have also been banned.
The stroller is the Premium 4 in 1 Stroller Plus, model G308, which was sold in Israel during 2024 and 2025, including under the ANGELS brand. The warning followed a review by the Standards Institution of Israel, carried out through the ministry’s standards commissioner, which found that the stroller does not meet the official Israeli standard for child strollers.
Inspectors identified several safety defects. The stroller is not intended to be used as a car safety seat, although its design could mislead some parents. It also lacks a double-locking mechanism, a key safety feature meant to prevent accidental folding during use. Officials said that such a failure could cause the stroller to collapse suddenly, leading to a baby falling, injuries, or finger and limb entrapment.
The review also found that the stroller failed the required stability tests, raising concern that it could tip over while in use. In addition, it does not include the parking and braking devices required when a child is being pushed in the direction of travel. The ministry said these are not merely technical flaws but safety failures that could result in harm. Parents are being asked to check whether their stroller matches the recalled model, and the ministry reiterated that anyone with the Premium 4 in 1 Stroller Plus, model G308, should stop using it right away.
