Israeli Economy Ministry Warns Parents to Stop Using Unsafe 4 Stroller Plus Baby Stroller

The Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry has issued an urgent safety warning advising parents to immediately cease using the 4 Stroller Plus model G308 baby stroller. Manufactured by ZhongShan E-V Baby Daily Products Co. Ltd and sold under the MeiLY+ brand, the stroller failed to meet Israeli safety standards during tests conducted by the Standards Institute under the supervision of the Ministry's Standards Authority.

The inspection revealed serious safety defects including the absence of a double locking mechanism, which could cause the stroller to collapse unexpectedly during use. Stability tests showed a high risk of the stroller tipping over. Additionally, the footrest lifting mechanism has dangerous openings that could trap a child's fingers or limbs. The stroller also lacks a parking or braking system when used in the forward-facing position, increasing the risk of uncontrolled rolling.

The Ministry emphasized these are significant safety hazards that could lead to injury or endanger the child. Parents are urged to stop using the stroller immediately and contact the importer’s warehouse for necessary repairs as per the Ministry’s instructions. The Ministry also clarified that the stroller is not designed to serve as a car safety seat and should not replace a dedicated restraint system.

This recall highlights the importance of adhering to official safety standards to protect infants from preventable accidents. The Ministry continues to monitor product safety and enforce compliance to safeguard consumers.
