Senior Member of Jarushi Crime Family Arrested in Grenade Attack Investigation

Khaled Hamada, a senior figure in the Jarushi crime family, was arrested on Saturday evening as part of the investigation into grenade explosions and shootings targeting Japnika branches. He is scheduled to appear overnight at the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion for an extension of his detention. Hamada is the first member of the Jarushi family to be detained in this case, following the arrest of five suspects linked to the Musli family, including the organization's leader, Yossi Musli. Hamada's lawyer, Walid Kabob, described the arrest as "spectacular and preventive, intended to exert pressure," and stated there is no evidence connecting Hamada to the serious allegations against him.
