Five Orthodox Jewish Women Attacked with Fertilizer-Filled Water Cannon in New York Park
New York police are investigating an antisemitic attack that occurred on Thursday in Greenfield Park, located in the Catskills region. Five Orthodox Jewish women riding bicycles were targeted when a man sprayed fertilizer at them from a moving vehicle using a water cannon. Two of the women were hit directly; one suffered severe injuries to her face and ear, causing her to fall off her bike, while another was struck in the back. The assailants shouted antisemitic slurs and insults at the women both before and after the attack. Authorities from the New York State Police arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation. They are currently reviewing security camera footage and searching for the vehicle involved in the assault.
