Six Arrested After Attack on Haredi Youth in Brooklyn's Boro Park
A serious incident occurred overnight in Boro Park, a Brooklyn neighborhood with a large Haredi community, when six local youths attacked a Haredi young man, throwing eggs at him before fleeing the scene. The attack prompted a swift response after volunteers from the neighborhood patrol group 'The Shomrim' reported the incident to the New York Police Department (NYPD). Police and volunteers quickly arrived at the scene, where dozens of residents gathered as officers conducted rapid questioning and extensive searches in nearby streets. Their prompt action led to the suspects being located near the attack site and arrested. Video footage shows the suspects being handcuffed and escorted one by one to NYPD patrol vehicles parked in the street center. The suspects were taken to the local police station for further investigation and legal proceedings.
