Man Severely Injured in Suspected Anti-Semitic Attack in Brooklyn

A 64-year-old man was seriously injured after being attacked on a street in Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning on Swan Street. According to footage released by the local security group Shomrim, the attack began when the victim was crossing the street and the suspect struck him on the shoulder. After the victim confronted the suspect, the attacker initially walked away but then returned, pushed the man forcefully to the ground, and shouted anti-Semitic slurs. The victim sustained a fractured hip and multiple injuries, including a suspected concussion, and was hospitalized for treatment. The New York Police Department's Hate Crimes Unit, in cooperation with Shomrim, has launched an investigation and is actively searching for the assailant.
