Six Arrested in Brooklyn Haredi Neighborhood for Egg-Throwing Harassment

Six young men were arrested in the Haredi neighborhood of Borough Park, Brooklyn, after causing fear and discomfort by harassing pedestrians and throwing eggs from a moving vehicle. The incident, initially described by the perpetrators as a nighttime prank, escalated when one resident was hit directly in the face by an egg. Emergency medical volunteers from the Hatzalah organization treated the injured individual on site.

The situation prompted urgent calls to the local Shomrim community patrol, who quickly responded and began tracking the suspicious vehicle based on detailed descriptions from residents. Maintaining continuous surveillance, the Shomrim volunteers coordinated with the New York Police Department, which intercepted and stopped the car, leading to the arrest of all six occupants.
