Players from the senior age group of the Football Academy at Mabo'ot Yam concluded their participation in the U15 World Championship and FIFA Festival in Baku, Azerbaijan. The tournament, which featured 189 associations, was aimed at developing future talent, according to the Football Association. The Israeli team played 10 matches over seven days, achieving a record of five wins, one draw, and four losses.

The tournament concept was conceived by former coach Arsène Wenger and utilizes an 8x8 format with modified rules designed to maximize player touches on the ball. The Israeli academy players faced a physical disadvantage, as they were competing against an older age group, according to academy coach Eyal Gadron. Despite this, Gadron expressed pride in the team's performance, noting their ability to compete respectfully, learn, and develop throughout the tournament, finishing with a positive win-loss record.

Professional director Eli Sudai highlighted the value of the international competition for young players, emphasizing the physical challenges and experience gained. He noted the team's five victories, achieved through skillful play, maturity, and character. Sudai also mentioned an inspiring conversation with Arsène Wenger about the importance of early exposure to physical challenges for player development.

Academy director Yigal Reznik described the tournament as an incredible professional and cultural experience. He pointed out the significant cultural exchange, with players and staff interacting and building connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds, breaking down barriers through the shared language of football. Reznik believes football can foster a better future between nations and people.
