The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Monday evening that it had eliminated four terrorists in multiple strikes across the Gaza Strip over the past weekend and on Sunday. Three terrorists from the military wings of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) were killed in strikes on Sunday, while a fourth terrorist, identified as Muhammad Anan Muhammad Al-Ruag, head of a Nukhba cell in Hamas's military wing, was eliminated in a strike in northern Gaza over the weekend.

The terrorists killed on Sunday included Alaa Abu Zaid and Hamdan Suleiman Ibrahim Abu Amra, both described as terrorists in the PIJ's military wing, and Fuzi Salam Odat Allah Suarka, a sniper terrorist in Hamas's military wing who had been targeting IDF forces. The IDF stated that these terrorists had been promoting terror activities against IDF forces and Israeli civilians and were working to restore the military capabilities of their organizations, systematically violating the ceasefire.

In a separate incident on Sunday, IDF forces identified three terrorists emerging from a tunnel shaft west of the Gaza border in the Khan Yunis area. An aircraft targeted the shaft and the terrorists, with hits being confirmed. Secondary explosions, indicating the presence of weapons in the shaft, were observed following the strike.

Earlier in the week, the IDF and Shin Bet eliminated Muhammad Halawa, a commander in the military intelligence of Hamas's military wing, in the Gaza City area. The previous week, Ahmed Zehir Fouad Abu-Odeh, an engineering commander in Hamas's military wing, was killed in a strike.

The IDF's Southern Command stated that its forces are deployed in the area according to agreements and will continue to operate to neutralize all threats.
