The Brooklyn Nets have transferred Israeli guard Ben Saraf to their NBA G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets. Saraf, 20, who was selected 26th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft, has seen limited playing time with the Nets this season, appearing in only four minutes during a recent 136-109 loss to the Indiana Pacers, where he scored two points and grabbed one rebound.

This move comes after Saraf's first NBA appearance of the season. He has faced stiff competition for minutes in the Nets' backcourt. Despite showing flashes during preseason, including an eight-point performance against Charlotte, he has not yet secured a consistent role in coach Jordi Fernandez's rotation.

Saraf is familiar with the G League, having split time between the Nets and their affiliate last season. In 15 games with Long Island last year, he averaged 15.4 points, 4.6 assists, and 3.6 rebounds. He will now aim to gain more experience and prove his worth to the Nets' coaching staff.

The Brooklyn Nets are experiencing a disappointing start to their season, remaining winless after three games and suffering a significant defeat to the Pacers. Coach Fernandez has expressed dissatisfaction with the team's performance, and the organization is continuing to evaluate its roster and the integration of younger players.
