The deal also includes an upgrade of existing patrol boat systems in Cyprus, also built by Israel Shipyards. The agreement was signed in Cyprus by the Director General of Israel's Ministry of Defense, Maj. Gen. (res.) Amir Yaron, and his Cypriot counterpart, Stelios Kountouris, Acting Permanent Secretary of the Cypriot Ministry of Defense.

The signing ceremony in Cyprus was attended by Maj. Gen. (res.) Yair Kulas, Head of the Naval Warfare Systems Directorate at the Ministry of Defense, Israeli Ambassador to Cyprus Shuli Davidovich, Israel Shipyards CEO Eitan Zuker, and Ran Tabor, Head of the Naval Warfare Systems Directorate at Rafael, among other senior officials.
