Hapoel Be'er Sheva is preparing for their Europa League match against Union SG, which will be held in Dusseldorf, Germany, on Thursday. The game was moved from Brussels due to police concerns and will be played without any spectators.
Hapoel Be'er Sheva coach Ran Kozuch described the situation as "unpleasant and sad," acknowledging that football is meant for fans and that playing without them is a significant drawback. "We will have to deal with it," he stated.
Kozuch also commented on his team's performance and player contributions, noting satisfaction with Igor Zlatanovic's input but indicating a need for rest for some players in the upcoming league game. Regarding the match against St. Gilloise, he admitted to being undecided on several positions, emphasizing the need for all players to be ready. "In my feelings, we will need everyone," he said.
The expected lineup sees Amankwaa Forson returning to the starting eleven, likely replacing the injured Lucas Ventura, who remained in Israel. Forson is anticipated to form the midfield alongside Niv Yehoshua and Eliel Peretz. Zaahi Ahmed, Igor Zlatanovic, and Javon East are also expected to rejoin the starting lineup.
