Hapoel Beer Sheva Coach Weighs Options Ahead of Union SG Clash

Hapoel Beer Sheva faces a busy schedule as they prepare to play Union Saint-Gilloise in the Europa League on Thursday, following a dramatic league victory over Hapoel Jerusalem. Coach Ran Kozuch is considering his lineup, with Amankwaa Forson expected to return to the starting eleven, replacing the injured Lucas Ventura who remained in Israel. Forson is anticipated to form the midfield alongside Niv Yehoshua and Eliel Peretz. Zahi Ahmed, Igor Zlatanovic, and Javon East are also set to rejoin the starting lineup.

The primary uncertainty for Kozuch lies in the defense. Guy Mizrahi and Pedro Amador are likely starters, with Djibril Diop and Itai Rotman potentially playing as center-backs. Meanwhile, Idan Nachmias is sidelined with a hamstring injury and also stayed in Israel.

The match will be held in Dusseldorf, Germany, without any spectators. "The goal is to take as many points as possible. We missed an opportunity against Alkmaar, and we will try to achieve a better result tomorrow," a player stated ahead of the game.
