Air Seychelles Resumes Weekly Direct Flights Between Tel Aviv and Mahe Island

Air Seychelles is set to restart its weekly direct flights from Tel Aviv to Mahe Island in the Seychelles, beginning August 20. This route renewal offers Israeli travelers a convenient six-hour flight to the popular Indian Ocean destination, with a schedule designed to allow a full week vacation. The outbound flight departs Tel Aviv on Thursdays at 04:50, arriving in Mahe at 12:10, while the return flight leaves Mahe on Wednesdays at 21:30, landing in Tel Aviv at 02:50.

The airline will operate Airbus A320 aircraft featuring both economy and business classes, providing passengers with meals and an increased baggage allowance of up to 30 kilograms. The resumption also facilitates quick connections to Mauritius via a short one hour and fifteen minute connecting flight.

Air Seychelles has maintained continuous engagement with the Israeli market during challenging times, and the Seychelles remains a sought-after tourist destination due to its tropical beaches, rich nature, and stable climate year-round. Besides leisure and resorts, visitors can enjoy activities such as sailing, diving, snorkeling, and island hopping. The airline also offers domestic flights within the archipelago, including a 20-minute flight to Praslin Island, enhancing inter-island travel options.
