תת-אלוף סיון בלוך נכנס לתפקידו כמפקד עוצבת 'הבשן' (210), עוצבה המהווה חלק מפיקוד המרכז של צה"ל. בלוך מחליף בתפקיד את תת-אלוף יאיר פלאי, שכיהן כמפקד העוצבה בשנתיים האחרונות. פלאי יוצא כעת ללימודים.

עוצבת 'הבשן' היא עוצבה מרחבית האחראית על גזרת רמת הגולן, והיא כוללת חטיבות חי"ר, שריון, הנדסה, ותותחנים, בנוסף ליחידות לוגיסטיקה, מודיעין, תקשורת, רפואה ועוד. העוצבה פועלת תחת פיקוד המרכז של צה"ל.
