מיד עם צאת יום הכיפורים, התקיים בקהילת חניכי הישיבות 'גבעת האנטנה' מעמד מיוחד בשם 'מחיל אל חיל'. במעמד השתתפו מאות אברכים, אשר נכנסו היישר מן הצום אל בית המדרש להמשך לימוד התורה. בסיום סדר הלימוד, נשא המחנך רבי שמעון כהן שיחה בנושאי חינוך. הכולל המיוחד הוא יוזמה של הרב יהודה דיין, יחד עם הרב שמעון אליהו והרב אברהם חמו, מראשי הקהילה, במטרה לחזק את לימוד התורה בזמנים הדורשים התחזקות רוחנית.
