הרשות השופטת באיראן הודיעה על הוצאתו להורג של אזרח איראני שהואשם בריגול עבור המוסד הישראלי ומסירת מידע על מיקומי טילים במחוז אספהאן. הפרסום לא פירט מתי בוצע גזר הדין או מתי נעצר האיש.

בדיווח נפרד, צוין כי בשנת 2025 הוציאה איראן להורג לפחות 1,639 בני אדם, המספר הגבוה ביותר מאז 1989. נתון זה מהווה עלייה של 68% בהשוואה לשנת 2024, בה נרשמו 975 הוצאות להורג. בין הנידונים למוות היו 48 נשים.
