Gaza Building Collapse Kills 11, Dozens Missing
Rescue efforts are underway in western Gaza City after a residential building collapsed, killing at least 11 people and leaving dozens missing. The "Al-Saada" building, a six-story structure housing displaced families and adjacent tents, crumbled early Wednesday. Civil defense teams and municipal crews have been working since midnight to rescue those trapped under the rubble.
Sources indicate the building had sustained damage from previous shelling. The Civil Defense reported earlier that eight bodies had been recovered along with dozens of injured individuals. Approximately 60 people are believed to be missing or injured in the disaster. The search for survivors continues.
