ממשל טראמפ מקדם עסקת נשק משמעותית בהיקף של 2.8 מיליארד דולר למכירת 40 אלף פצצות לישראל. על פי גורם אמריקאי, מדובר בעסקה הגדולה ביותר בשנים האחרונות של פצצות מסוג זה. העסקה כוללת 20 אלף פצצות מסוג MK-84 ו-20 אלף פצצות מסוג BLU-117, בנוסף ל-20 אלף ראשי קרב חודרי ביצורים מסוג I-2000 Penetrator.
