Israeli Standards Authority Warns Parents to Stop Using Popular Stroller Immediately

Israel’s Commissioner for Standards at the Ministry of Economy and Industry issued an urgent warning against using a popular child stroller after laboratory tests found serious safety defects that could harm babies. A special examination by the Standards Institute for the Standards Administration found that the product does not comply with the official Israeli standard for baby strollers, Standard 1888, Part 1.

The stroller in question is sold as the Stroller Plus 4 in 1 Premium Stroller, and also under the ANGELS brand. The model is G308, manufactured by ZhongShan E-V Baby Daily Products Co. Ltd., and it was marketed during 2024 and 2025.

Authorities said the risks include injury, bruising, falling and entrapment. The main defects identified were a missing double locking mechanism, which could cause the stroller to fold unexpectedly while a baby is inside; failure in the official stability test, creating a real risk of tipping over; and the absence of parking or braking devices when the stroller is pushed facing forward.

Officials also warned that the product name is misleading, because the stroller is not intended or approved to be used as a car safety seat or restraint system. Consumers who own the stroller were told to stop using it immediately, and stores and distributors were ordered not to sell it. The Standards Administration said it will continue active market inspections and will pursue severe administrative and criminal penalties against anyone found marketing dangerous products.
