משטרת מחוז ש"י עצרה חמישה פלסטינים שניסו להיכנס לישראל כשהם מוסתרים בתא המטען של רכב במעבר רנטיס. הנהג, שעל פי הדיווחים ניסה להבריח אותם, נעצר גם הוא. בנוסף, נתפסו ברכב אלפי שקלים, שעל פי הדיווחים שייכים לפלסטינים.
