Border Police Officer Killed in Netanya Laid to Rest

A Border Police officer, Sergeant First Class Binyamin (Beni) Lev, who was shot and killed in Netanya on Tuesday, was laid to rest on Wednesday at the military cemetery in Ashkelon. Lev, 22, from the community settlement of Beit El, was a combatant in the Border Police's special operations unit.

He was killed during an operation to apprehend a suspect in Netanya. The suspect, who was also killed, was identified as a resident of the city who had previously been involved in criminal activity. Lev's family requested that his body not undergo an autopsy, and the request was granted.
