Jerusalem Man Indicted for Raping Teen He Met Online
A 19-year-old Jerusalem man, Natanel Toledano, has been indicted on charges of rape, attempted rape, and indecent acts against a 17-year-old girl he met online. The indictment, filed Tuesday at the Jerusalem District Court, details how the two met in Jerusalem about two weeks after connecting online and went to a short-term apartment Toledano had rented in the Talpiot neighborhood.
According to the indictment, after drinking alcohol in the apartment, Toledano began sexually assaulting the girl without her consent. Despite her resistance, repeated requests to stop, crying, and screaming, Toledano allegedly continued to commit rape and sexual acts by force. The indictment further states that he woke her from sleep to commit another act of rape. The victim sustained injuries and pain as a result of the assaults.
Separately, a 22-year-old man from Netanya, Eliyahu Ganach, was indicted on Monday for a series of indecent acts against women in that city. Some of these alleged offenses occurred while Ganach was under house arrest. The indictment claims Ganach operated similarly towards 10 complainants at different times, approaching women on the street or in residential buildings while riding his motorcycle and assaulting them.
