Jerusalem Man Charged With Indecent Act Against 12-Year-Old Girl

The State Attorney’s Office has indicted Yehonatan Shmuel, 57, of Jerusalem, on charges of committing an indecent act against a 12-year-old girl. According to the indictment, the girl encountered him on a shortcut in Jerusalem’s Kiryat Moshe neighborhood and approached him for help.

The indictment says Shmuel then grabbed her hand and placed it on his genitals over his clothes. It also alleges that he hugged her from behind and kissed her on the forehead without her consent.

When the girl tried to get away, the indictment says, Shmuel held her hand and chased her after she managed to escape. It further states that he pinched her buttocks during the pursuit. The case is now in court following the filing of the charge sheet.
