Jerusalem Man Indicted for Raping and Sexually Assaulting Teen
Jerusalem District Prosecutors have filed an indictment against 19-year-old Natanel Toledano for a series of alleged sexual offenses against a 17-year-old minor. The indictment, filed by attorney Yifat Pinchasi Nevo, charges Toledano with five counts of rape, attempted rape, and indecent acts.
According to the indictment, Toledano and the complainant met online. About a week and a half after meeting, they met early one morning in Jerusalem and later went to an apartment Toledano had rented for several hours in the Talpiot neighborhood. After drinking alcohol in the apartment, Toledano allegedly began touching the complainant without her consent.
The indictment details that Toledano committed acts of rape and sexual assault by force against the complainant, despite her resistance, repeated requests to stop, screams, and crying. Toledano allegedly committed another act of rape after waking her from sleep. The minor sustained injuries and pain as a result of the assaults.
Attorney Roit Zilberfarb, representing the minor through the Legal Aid department of the Ministry of Justice, stated that the complainant immediately contacted the police and the Acute Center for the Treatment of Victims of Sexual Assault. She expressed hope that justice would be served. Attorney Alex Gafni, representing Toledano, responded by stating, "My client denies committing any criminal act. We will receive the materials, study them, and then be able to respond to the details."
Publication of the minor's identifying details is prohibited. The article also briefly mentions that 18 rape investigations were opened in the IDF in 2026 and that prosecutors appealed the release of Haim Rotter to house arrest.
