Harel Insurance announced that a search and rescue team from their "Harel 669" unit will depart for Nepal shortly to assist in locating the missing Israeli and the group. The floods and mudslides have blocked access routes and isolated entire areas, complicating rescue efforts. The Israeli rescue team, consisting of about eight members, will use foot patrols, drones, and observation equipment in their search. Harel Insurance is coordinating closely with the missing man's family, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and local authorities in Nepal.
