Hapoel Tel Aviv is preparing to host Atalanta on Thursday at 21:00 in the second leg of the UEFA Conference League playoff round. The first leg in Bergamo ended in a 0-0 draw, giving Hapoel a solid chance to advance. Unlike the previous match, Atalanta is expected to field a stronger squad this time. Belgian international Charles De Ketelaere, Atalanta's key player, is set to return to the lineup after coming on as a substitute in their recent 2-1 win over Sassuolo. His participation is seen as crucial for Atalanta's chances against the Israeli side.
However, Atalanta will be without Nigerian defender Honest Ahanor, 18, and Danish international center-back Thomas Kristensen. Another defender, Odilon Kossounou, has resumed training but remains under workload monitoring by the coaching staff, making his availability uncertain. The match is highly anticipated as both teams vie for a spot in the Conference League group stage.
