Israeli singer Omer Adam and his wife Sasha are preparing for their grand wedding celebration at the historic Cervara Monastery in Portofino, Italy. Although the couple legally married in a private ceremony earlier, the main event is set for Wednesday, August 26, 2026. A Mako reporter on site captured exclusive footage of the extensive preparations, including a lavish chuppah, a large stage, and a dance floor where guests have already begun rehearsing.

The monastery, dating back to the 14th century and overlooking the Italian Riviera, has been transformed with elegant greenery and expansive lawns to host the festivities. Among the notable attendees documented are the Haredi singer Moti Steinmetz, who is expected to perform, and Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch, the Rabbi of the Western Wall. Reports indicate the ceremony will be conducted with gender separation, as Steinmetz had previously stipulated.

Guests began arriving on Tuesday via a charter flight that included Israeli celebrities such as Aviv Geffen and his wife Sharon Kaufman, Eran and Shay Zahavi, and businessman Harel Wiesel. The flight featured an open bar, DJ, and gifts. A recording from the plane captured Omer’s father, Yaniv Adam, humorously commenting on the event’s expenses and urging guests to behave appropriately, emphasizing the aristocratic European family joining the celebration.

Other arrivals included singer Lior Narkis, the trio Ma Kashur (Shalom Michaelshvili, Assi Israelof, and Zion Baruch), and Sasha’s glam team, including makeup artist Miriam Shay and hairstylist Idan Bakshi. The wedding festival in Portofino is expected to continue with full vigor on Wednesday, marking a major social event for the couple and their guests.
