Red Heat Warning Issued for Jordan Valley and Beit She'an Amid Rising Temperatures

The Israeli Meteorological Service has issued a red warning for extreme heat in the Beit She'an Valley, the Sea of Galilee Basin, and the Jordan Valley. Temperatures are expected to rise further, particularly in mountainous and inland areas, with the heat intensifying even during nighttime hours. On Tuesday, after morning clouds clear, the weather will be mostly clear with slightly higher-than-average temperatures for this season. The heat burden will increase overnight with partial cloudiness.

Wednesday will see another rise in temperatures following morning cloud dispersal, maintaining levels above seasonal norms, especially in the mountains and inland regions. The heat load will continue to worsen. Thursday is forecasted to remain clear after morning clouds dissipate, with temperatures still exceeding typical seasonal values.

Specific temperature forecasts for Tuesday and Wednesday include Jerusalem at 21-32°C, Tel Aviv at 22-31°C, Beersheba at 18-34°C, Haifa at 23-30°C, Tiberias at 22-36°C, Safed at 20-32°C, and Eilat reaching up to 40°C. Residents in the affected areas are advised to take precautions against the severe heat conditions.
