Judge Approves National Security Minister Ben Gvir's Participation in Police Volunteer Event
Noam Sohlberg, chairman of the Elections Committee, approved National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir's participation in a police volunteer conference scheduled for this evening at Menora Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv. Sohlberg ruled to reject a petition against Ben Gvir's attendance after reviewing the arguments presented. The judge noted Ben Gvir's commitment, also included in his affidavit, not to deliver any election propaganda during the event. Despite the approval, the State Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara opposed Ben Gvir's participation. Sohlberg recommended that the minister submit his speech in writing to legal authorities beforehand to ensure it contains no campaign material.
