Three Israelis Enter Palestinian Authority Areas Overnight and Are Rescued

During the night of Monday, three separate incidents occurred in which Israelis entered Palestinian Authority-controlled Areas A. The Civil Administration and the IDF reported these cases and reiterated that entering Area A is illegal and life-threatening. In the first incident, an armed Israeli, identified as a reserve soldier not wearing a uniform, entered the Palestinian village of Ein Arik west of Ramallah. Palestinian security forces detained him and handed him over to the Civil Administration for further processing, documenting the event.

In the second case, a Jewish woman was seen wandering in the city of Jericho. Officers from the Beqaa Coordination and Liaison Unit (Metak) rescued her, and initial investigations indicated she entered the city intentionally. Simultaneously, a mentally unstable Israeli man was spotted roaming the streets of Bethlehem. Local residents alerted security forces, who then took him into custody.

The IDF stated that all cases have been transferred to the Judea and Samaria Police District for further investigation. The Civil Administration emphasized that entering Area A endangers lives and is prohibited by law. Last month, the Civil Administration rescued a female soldier and two other Jewish women from Jericho. Another similar incident involved nine Breslov Hasidim who were evacuated from the village of Muhamas in the Binyamin region after reports of an attack, which later proved unfounded.
